PayPal Setup Guide
Accept payments with the most recognized name in online payments
PayPal is trusted by millions and many customers already have accounts. Easy setup with multiple payment options. Processing fee: 2.9% + 30¢ per transaction.
Step 1: Create or Upgrade Your PayPal Account
1 Go to paypal.com/business
2 If you have a personal account, upgrade it to Business
3 If new, click "Sign Up" and choose "Business Account"
4 Fill in your business information:
- Business name
- Business type
- Contact information
5 Link your bank account
Step 2: Set Up PayPal.me Link
The easiest way to accept payments - a simple link!
1 Go to paypal.com/paypalme
2 Create your custom link (e.g., paypal.me/YourBusiness)
3 Your link is now: paypal.me/YourBusiness
4 For set amounts: paypal.me/YourBusiness/50 (for $50)
Just send me your PayPal.me link and I'll add a "Pay with PayPal" button to your site. Done!
Step 3: Create PayPal Buttons (Optional)
For more professional buy/pay buttons:
1 Go to Dashboard → Pay & Get Paid
2 Click PayPal buttons
3 Choose button type:
- Buy Now - Single item purchase
- Add to Cart - Shopping cart
- Donate - For tips/donations
- Subscribe - Recurring payments
4 Fill in item details and click Create
5 Copy the button code - I'll add this to your site
Step 4: Create Invoices (Optional)
1 Go to Dashboard → Invoicing
2 Click Create Invoice
3 Add customer email and items
4 Send - customer gets a professional invoice with pay button
